Job description

The client is a dynamic and growing company based in Québec city. They are looking for a dynamic person, experienced in Back End programming to complement their team.

What you can expect when joining the team

At the heart of a multidisciplinary team, you will join the technical and creative teams operating on an agile basis in constant. 

Here are the challenges that await you:

• Develop and improve APIs, web applications, and JAVA web services;
• Work with the production manager, project coordinator, creative team and mobile development team;
• Participate in code revisions with the team;
• Develop and improve the technical architecture of solutions;
• Publish APIs/Web Service/Web Application on our production servers;
• Work with the mobile development team to ensure mobile applications communicate appropriately with Back-End elements;
• Testing and fixing any bugs to deliver bug-free products to the quality assurance team

Your daily life

Based out of Quebec City or your remote location, you will be led to :

• Design and implement new features;
• Participate in the code review of your colleagues;
• Participate in the maintenance and technological evolution of the platform;
• Writing automated tests (yes, it’s important to them!).

Job requirements

Are you a versatile, resourceful developer with a passion for web application development? Do you enjoy staying up to date, being informed and working in a fast-paced environment? • Relevant experience as Java Developer, 5 years or more;
• Computer science degree;
• Knowledge of Java Spring MVC-Boot-Batch;
• A good understanding of the RESTful web service Java ;
• Knowledge of Java Test Automation;
• Ability to implement design patterns like Singleton, Factory, Abstract Factory;
• Intuition and autonomy in problem-solving;
• A curious, analytical, collaborative, and positive mindset;
• Good knowledge of French is a plus;
