Key Responsibilities:
- Deploying and enforcing policies and procedures to ensure proper data usage and maintenance.
- Conducting business process analysis, identifying gaps and inefficiencies, and proposing solutions to streamline processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in data governance.
- Significant experience in:
- Data management.
- Change management.
- Implementation of complex technology systems.
- Expertise in establishing and managing data governance programs and executing related strategic plans.
- Strong knowledge of data governance and data quality concepts, as well as best practices.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, Canada Privacy Act, Bill 64, etc., and up-to-date knowledge in these areas.
- Understanding of data loss prevention, SOC, or cybersecurity operations, including tactics, techniques, and procedures.
- Proficiency in the following technologies:
- Language: Bilingual (French and English) or English-speaking.
